One Freedom Rider’s Story

In a 25,000-word memoir entitled “Changing America: Privileged Memories” which he finished in 2000, Allan Levine left us an intimate and fascinating first-hand account of the epic civil rights struggle of the 1960s in the American south, and of his own part in that story.

The memoir was dedicated to his family – his parents, his children and grandchildren, and his beloved wife.
